Re: heavy quality loss when i upload my vidoes
YouTube's compression techniques suck for the most part. After all, they are about quantity and not quality. Recommended bit rate for video uploaded to YouTube at 1080p is 50Mbps, but even this won't get you anywhere if your source material that you edited already has a lot of data lossed in it's co...

Re: Favorite Video Game Destination
E1M7 You can't beat the classics. :) E2M6 is one of my favorites. Changing gears, I have to say the first Half-Life is chalk full of amazing maps. Nearly every chapter in the game is something special. My personal favorites in the game are Lambda Core, Forget About Freeman, Questionable Ethics, Sur...

Re: Squenix Has Just Blew My Mind.....
Meh.
My hopes for anything great in new FF or KH died a long time ago. Graphics look amazing, but haven't seen anything in either the story or gameplay to make me interested. It's great to see KH3 finally coming, but people behind the curtains are just not as serious as those in the PS2 age.

Re: Skrillex, don't be hatin' yo XP
No. What I'm saying is Skrillex is a music producer. And quite frankly, he's actually a really good one in that. But there's a difference between producers, songwriters, mixers, and composers. What a music artist in the industry would do is work with song writers and they would provide ideas for the...

Re: Skrillex, don't be hatin' yo XP
Let me put it this way. I was at a party one night on top of the AT&T Center in downtown LA and Sonny was there along with other celebrities including Nick Swardson, Richard Ayoade, and Djimon Honsou. He was also performing that night too, but he wasn't actually "performing" per se. His DJs and mixe...

Re: Kickstarter
Oh Kickstarter! I love causes and communities like this. Honestly, as much as I work for the industry, Hollywood really does need to stop making films. Way too much money is circulated in the industry and way too many hard working people in the industry are being screwed over for the interests of fi...

Re: Oscar Ballot PREDICTIONS 2013
This ceremony is literally walking distance from my apartment on Hollywood Blvd at the Dolby Theater and every year traffic is congested for hours. Anyways, I'm going to voice what I would like to win rather than what I think would win. BEST PICTURE Would've chosen The Master actually....

Re: The Vent Thread
Code. Sounds like exactly what I'm going through right now actually. Previous job, I adored the people whom I worked with and my boss I considered my mentor and father in-law. I was also wearing many hats and I was doing something that I loved doing, which was directing, writing, producing, post-pro...
