I guess they could be considered overused, I do see them pretty often in amateur amvs. I think most good creators blend them into their amvs if they use them at all so I don't notice them very much.

Moving text with a background For example in this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSTXHYcVVZg To make the credits similar to that would you use track motion or pan/crop? And would you use text media? Switching sources in Sony Vegas
Say I edited a video in Sony Vegas movie studio and used low quality clips. If I got better quality clips with the same fps, resolution, and aspect ratio and replaced the low quality clips with the new ones, would everything stay the same except the quality? I think you can use static clips even in an action amv. Maybe if you use track motion and stuff and some blur.
