Program: adobe premiere pro cs4 used brightness/contrast effect, set key frame for 0%, set another keyframe a few frames later increasing contrast, set another keyframe a few frames after that for 0% contrast. when i play the video, the contrast doesn't change at the keyframes. the same method works...

I read the guide, watched videos, practiced and i know how to use after effects but i have no idea how to use my editing software (adobe premiere pro cs4) and after effects together. for example, how would i edit a video with adobe after effects to sync with music? i just need some clarity.

about your video Dely, It was hard for me to be a critic because it wasn't my cup of tea. I didn't like the music and i haven't seen the anime to fully understand what message you're trying to send, if any. Besides that, the editing was done very well. I couldn't tell where you added your own effect...

agreed. 2nd video i didn't know what the hell i was doing. i just tried to sync the footage to the music. i didn't know how to encode and never even heard of avisynth. for the 3rd video, i literally JUST found out about avisynth so that explains the vast difference in quality between the 2nd and 3rd...
