About grain and resize
I have a doubt. If I have, for example, a 1080p source with a lot of static grain and I want to downscale because the real resolution is lower, it's better to degrain->resize->addgrain, or a simple resize? I thought that maybe the first method is better because an immediate resize can "deform" the o...

Re: Avspmod 16bit input
Sorry if I reply only now, but I was away for work.
I didn't know that those were old, thanks for the advice. I tried with f3kdb and dither_out, but the output is always green.
Must be doing something wrong, can you show me an AVS sample for the 10bit conversion and editing?

Avspmod 16bit input
I was trying to do something in 10bit and I consulted this discussion: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=108096#p1427025 When I go setting GradFun3(lsb=true) Dither_convey_yuv4xxp16_on_yvxx() on avspmod, though, the preview never shows right. I saw on avysinth wiki (here: ht...

Re: Help with old anime framerate
Thanks, mirkosp. I guess I'll take it all to 23.976, speeding up everything, then. Another question (just curiosity), if I can: and in case of a total rip? The speed up\slow down will cause the audio to be desynchronized? In this case it'll better to maintain the variable framerate or simply convert...

Help with old anime framerate
Hi, guys! I'm a newbie to the video editing and I'm having some troubles with some old anime. Practically, I'm working with some videos that have a variable framerate. Almost all of the scenes are at 23.976, with a few (in certain cases, only one) at 29.976 that last between 4 to 40 frames at max, e...
