Re: 1:1 My first AMV
Oh, alright. Sorry, I just briefly went over the rules and somehow skipped that.. :/ I'll create an entry immediately.

1:1 My first AMV
I just recently finished my first AMV and would like to hear some opinions on it, and also on how I can improve. I didn't really use a lot of effects, most of them I didn't even understand how you'd do them, the others just didn't work for me. T59uQQ2JRB0 Some parts feel kinda messy but eh, I'd stil...

Glow transition
I'm using Adobe After Effects CC 2015. l0YJwKvsuyc 1:28 and 2:48 I do know how to apply the basic glow effect, however I can only put a glow effect on the entire screen. I can't find the option to determine at which position the glow starts. Could anyone please explain to me how it could be done wit...

Re: Video quality issues
Oh wow, you actually found out the cause for the quality drop! It doesn't have anything to do with the convertion, however when I created a new sequence, I saw that Editing Mode is set to DVD by default, and simply changing that to 1080p solved the issue. It looks just as good as it should be, wow. ...

Re: Video quality issues
Yes. They used to be mkv files and I converted them to mp4 files since Premiere can't import mkv files. Do you know how I change the framerate of the sequence? When I go to properties or sequence settings, it does show me that it's indeed set to 25 fps, but it doesn't let me change it. In sequence s...

Re: Video quality issues
Well, I'm kinda new to this so I don't know what you mean with codec and where to find it, so I hope these two screenshots below give you the information you need. If not, I'll try to find whatever you need. As for the format, I've tried pretty much every format that I thought would be worth trying....

Video quality issues
I'm currently working on my first AMV and am using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and Adobe After Effects CC 2015. For some reason, whenever I import my footage to Premiere, the quality significantly decreases. The sound and framerate seem to be fine though. I didn't actually realize this because I was edit...

Re: So You Want To Be A *GOOD* Anime Music Video Editor?
I've been a fan of AMV for about five years now and always wanted to make them, but never actually got to learning how to do it until now. This is very helpful, and very interesting, too. What I've done ever since I got into AMVs is, sometimes I would just listen to a sing and visualize an AMV to it...
