Yes, I'd love to see Harry Potter as an anime.

Also, I think some other of Dianna Wynne Jones' books would make good animes but I wouldn't want them to be done by Studio Ghibli or Miyazaki as I really didn't like what they did with Howl's Moving Castle

Hmmm... Dr Jackel from Getbackers and Katana from Gad Guard...though I'm not really sure that they're 'good guys' as such but more traditional enemy-turned-part-time-ally type of thing. But I suppose in that sense a lot of people could apply -Gaara? (Naruto), Hisoka? (Hunter X Hunter). ...I suppose ...

Twas an enjoyable series though I felt the end left a lot to be desired, for example more information on the Last Children etc.
