Almost forgot to post this here. Finished a project I started a while back after taking a bit of a break from editing. Wanted to try to use and play with more interesting editing techniques and decisions, and I think overall it came out alright. Hope you enjoy!

Hisoyakani (Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop)
Wanted to make a more relaxed AMV while incorporating some of the process and editing choices of the editor Truth Crab after watching CrackTheSky's interview with him . Not super proud of the final product, but am satisfied, and I've learned quite a bit from the whole thing, so I'm overall happy wit...

Re: Cowboy Bebop & Tears for Fears: Everybody Wants to Rule the World
While the AMV as a whole didn't quite work for me (I generally don't like when full scenes and audio from the anime are included), there were a couple of magical moments in the middle (mostly between the 2 minute to the 4 minute mark) where it really clicked into place. These moments really felt lik...

Re: Say Goodbye - Your Name AMV
Extremely cool effects on display here (absolutely love from 1:17 to 1:32), and at moments everything flows well together, but I can't help but feel like sometimes the visuals act disjointedly from the song. The instruments would sometimes explode with energy while the visuals remained calm, or vice...

Re: ascension (Angel's Egg)
GEEZ... that is one of the best AMV's I've seen in a looong time. I audibly gasped at the drop at 5:21  I have a lot of things to say about this edit.. to start off, your choice in scenes couldn't have been better. It truly felt like this anime was made for the song (one of my personal favs ...

ascension (Angel's Egg)
My attempt at a slower paced AMV. Still not sure if it's too slow at times, so do inform me if you found yourself bored by the pace.

Re: Quarantine Dreams
Wow, this was absolutely incredible. So much about this is excellent, but I have to say, this is some truly remarkable scene selection. Not only do the scenes feel very relevant with the overall message of the video, but are also visually striking and interesting even without much serious editing. I...

Re: parhelion Experimental AMV
Neat idea! Some part of me wanted the whole video to be shot through the sphere, but I also like the snaps back and forth, makes it feel like the video is losing and regaining its focus. I also really like the building up to the climax at the end there. Great job!

Re: Why Do You Make AMVs?
I like it when the pictures on screen match the boops in a song.

Re: Right Click, Loop (FLCL)
FLCL looks great here (maybe that's not too hard to accomplish but you'd be surprised how many ways editors can find to make it look not great ), I love the music (most NES music is not going to translate to AMVs as well as this but this theme worked with this footage better than I ever could have ...
