"To Download" list?

I'm in a situation I think many can sympathize with: At home, I'm still using dialup. (Not by choice; there's no broadband where I live.) At school, I have access to a big pipe. Problem is, I tend to browse the Org at home, and can't download a video that looks tempting immediately... and by the tim...

In a few episodes of Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu (and the opening sequence), there's something that can best be described as a cat-erpillar... a cat with hundreds of legs.

DVD Audio on a Mac?

Sheesh, the crap I have to go through for a three second audio clip... Anyway, I was trying to grab a short audio clip from my "Finding Nemo" DVD, for use in the opening bumper of my next video. But none of the tools I've found seem to do DVD audio properly. 0SEx creates a .AC3 file, which nothing e...

The free version of Quicktime Player doesn't support fullscreen viewing. You need Quicktime Pro for that.

For AMVs, OSEx and MacMPEG2Decoder are fine. (I wouldn't suggest MM2D for normal DVD rips, though, since AFAICT it won't decode audio.)

If the 2nd paragraph didn't clue you in that he's making one big joke, then you need some more popcorn. Looks like HCP is trying to see how much he can get away with before people bitch to the mods/phade and he gets banned. :? But if all the kiddies are banned, where will they play? Won't somebody ...

I don't know if he counts as 'known', really... but he and Chriz the Stampede are the ones that really got me into AMVs. (In other words, blame them.) I know them both from a go club I attend.
Really, AFAIK, the only editors that even let you use 23.976fps is Cinelerra and FCP. I dunno really if FCP even lets you do it.
Yes, FCP does allow you to use 23.976 FPS.

Incubus is better than the average group. (So is Linkin Park, but at least Incubus isn't so overused.) However, sometimes you have to look a bit wider, or look back, to find good stuff. For example, my first video (which sucks) is to "Carry On Wayward Son" (by Kansas). The one I'm currently working ...

OMG..you have got to be the first person I've seen make a non-anime related video and not put it on the local server, I congradulate you!! Well, a few of my friends told me to put it on the Donut, but since it's neither anime nor anime-like game footage, I knew it wouldn't be right. Besides, I like...
