Thank you all for your suggestions. I also thought that it probably wouldn't matter if we did it just this one time. Neither my self or the band are using this to make money. And I understand that it could not be used as a gimmick for the band. Well with this information I guess i'll leave it to the...

Playing AMVs in public?

I have a question about play AMVs in public. I made an AMV for a local band. They liked it so much that they want to play it at one of there shows. The show is an all ages venue with a cover charge. Does anyone know if the band would get in trouble for it? Or me for that matter. Does anyone have any...

That worked great 512x384 and 512x352.

I read something about keeping the res. div by 16 and 8 but I guess I forgot about that when I was making my vid.

Thank you very much for your help. :o

Ok, the source is 720x480. I'm resizing to 512x342 in VirtualDub under the divx menu. Here is a screen shot. I had to take it from Premiere so it looks like s__t but you can see the purple stuff at the bottom.

Purple Stuff!!!

Hi all. I need some help with finalizing my AMV. I have ripped files from DVD. Used AviSynth and exported with HUFFYUV. Everything is perfect so far. The HUFFYUV plays perfect. The problem comes when I covert the HUFFYUV into DivX. I get weird purple marks in two areas in my AMV. They are in the sam...
