splitting mkv file

I am attempting to open an .mkv file in virtualdubmod but i get an error message:

"Only handle [S_Text/] subs for the moment"

I was wondering if i could remove the sub file outside of virtualdub and then open it or if there is another program similar to virtualdub.

i have a matroska (.mkv) file and want to cut it (as in leangth, not image size. I just want to cut off part of the beginning). but i don't want to import it into a software and resave it becasue you lose quality that way. Does anyone have an idea how to do this withou losing quality?

I think a lot of people would say they don't like their vids so as not to seem conceited. Also, if you say something that you made is good and other people end up thinking it’s not so good then you end up in a kinda odd position. I guess that’s also why people often put emphasis on the fact that thi...

I host my site at freewebs.com. So far, all I can say is that it is very slow on my computer and I don't know wether that is due to my computer or the site. I chose them mainly because they have no file size limit. My site is www.freewebs.com/neyuki/ Look at it and judge for yourself. What works dep...
