Okay, so I've gotten the VOB converted into an uncompressed, progressive AVI at 23.976 fps. (One episode of Cowboy Bebop is 29.1 gigs, but that's neither here nor there.) Now, I know that Premiere can't edit in 23.976 fps, but apparently Vegas can. It's right there in the settings. Am I good to go, ...

So I write an AVS script to Telecide the VOB, then turn the AVS into an AVI, and then I'll finally be able to make Vegas happy? Is there anything else important I should know?

So once I've made the AVS file, Vegas should be able to just load it like anything else? (And sorry about the newbie questions; I'm using all new software and it's been so long since I've done any editing.)
