Re: FLOATACON IS ON!
I not sure what all the options are out there on a cruise ship, but I do know several successful science fiction cons have done this sort of thing so I would of started by tracing these groups/individuals down and discussing how they did it, when they did it, how much they charged, how successful i...

Re: FLOATACON IS ON!
Being on a SHIP, this is basicly a convention that HAS no local fanbase. Everyone is going to be spending 'long distance travel' level money to attend. It REALLY limits any potential audience. Yup. Also treating the ship like it's a hotel is the wrong way to go about since a cruise ship is so clear...

Re: FLOATACON IS ON!
Specific details about the ship can not be released until early next year. (Cruise line rule as they said they don't want any calls about this until then.) To avoid paypal fees for those who have already paid, in the event of cancellation, I am going to close registration on September 1, 2009. I ex...

To me, someone who has been shopping for a cruise next year, this seems like total price gouging >.> I can travel to the Bahamas on the same date for the sam...

which program? imovie? final cut express? final cut pro? *insert reasons why you should just update your ram, and continue with premiere here* Mac's work well for everything else I do. And that stuff earns me $$, pays the rent and stuff. AMV's do not. Not to mention I got it for only 150 bucks incl...

FCP n00b - Compressing Video
