The downside to this technique is that it affects the entire track, so it's somewhat limited. :( Vegas allows you as many tracks as you want, so the only limit is how much work you want to spend keeping track of your tracks. Sure, the full version does. :x Something you might wanna try as a workaro...

Demux the vobs with the subtitles still in there Man, I'm tired. I meant to type 'Decrypt', and actually just meant not to demux anything when you save the file to the hard drive. You made that last post JUST as I was looking over mine... lol But yeah, I got it pretty much that way: I ripped it wit...

When you drag a clip with audio to the timeline, it automatically associates them in a "group." Select the audio clip and hit the U key to "ungroup" it. For future reference, if you want to group anything, click the first item to select it, then Ctrl-Click any other items you want to group it with a...

Argh.

When you move the slider to get the envelope to show up, THAT'S when you should set the point at the beginning of the vid to "No Color." THEN you should zoom in on the area of effect, as it were.

I previewed that post like 12 times, and I still missed that. :x

About strobing: I have a lot of Vegas plug-ins, and not a one of them will automatically generate a strobe effect, but there are several ways to handle it. Unfortunately I'm not at my computer right now, but I'll try to explain one way as best as possible, off the top of my head, because I want to f...

So... what if I actually WANT subtitles?

Ok, so I decided that I want to get some of my DVDs onto my PSP (specifically, foreign ones with no english dub, hence the need for the subs). I downloaded the AMVApp, and picked a random chapter from my 301/302 DVD in IFO mode with stream processing enabled. I've tried all three ways in IFO mode to...
