Ok.. Sorry for the long time to reply. I was drowning my sorrows in Jak X. Alright. Yes, I understand that I don't need the sound to make an MV, but a) I like to keep the clips - with sound - on my computer so that I can enjoy them without having to boot up my PS2 and then (depending on the game) re...

Yep. I can confirm. The file is broken. It'll open, but the image freezes whilst the sound continues merrily along... for a few seconds. I think I'm cursed. I'll die and be one of those ghosts that go around knocking off people in gruesome ways unless they can offer me working Video-Rips. *cou...

Again, many thanks.

Ok, THIS time it had a different message:

"5370 s packets cause buffer underflow, The MPEG file might cause error when it played"

I've had similar before, when I was trying to just grab the file sans sound.

Suggestions?

(Thanks again for your kindness)

"Multiplexing Linear PCM stream to system stream is not supported"

Whatever THAT means...

MANY Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it. Then this error message pops up.
Any more suggestions? Please?

m2v conversion - shoddy at best - suggestions?

Ok. So I finally stumbled over some sort of ripkit. (A gift from on high, I tell you. No guide that I've trawled through has been able to help me. I don't know what the problem is. I download the programs, they cheerfully run and then say 'Yep, we got nothing.') So yes, the ripkit snatched a load of...

Happy, yet so so Sad.

Nope, gotta get a capture card. If it's not a pss, it's not extractable. *throws Metal Gear Solid 2 video idea out the window* Firstly: My profound thanks for this *understandable* guide being made. Secondly: It seems every single game I own does not contain files that any current program can find....

(Smacks forehead) Damn, I'm blind. Thanks very much for that. It asks for both, username & number. I could probably get away with just my name, but seeing as I'm so pathetically poor, I really want to make absolutely certain that my pathetic contribution is recognised as mine. Thanks again.

Eep.

On second check, though... It doesn't seem to be working. :?
Am I hovering over the right icon?

Mouse-overs just pop up 'Von'. I've tried mouse-overing several different icons, whilst both logged in AND out. But no luck.

Oh well. I guess I'll just have to trust your word.

Thanks.

Finding my user number

Hey,

I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I've searched, but can't find any previous posts. :(

How do I find my user number? I want to make sure my pledge is actually attributed to me and not just some generous stranger.

Thanks for any help.
