Help with high definition capture

Hi, I'm trying to capture high definition video to my computer from a Sony HDR HC3 camera. I'm using Vegas Video 6 (which is supposed to support HD editing, at least. It SHOULD support capture too. Right?) No soap. If I record in normal def, I can capture fine. The problem is, there's some high def ...

Building the ultimate up-to-date editing machine.

Building the ultimate video editing machine. Like a lot of people here, I'm looking to build the best video editing machine that money can buy. While I used to be pretty good with hardware, I'm not up to date on the best places to buy, newest cards, etc. So I've gone through the boards and collected...

But anyways, I don't think anyone will ever make an amv to the full version of Think as a Brick by Jethro Tull. I presume you mean "Thick" as a brick. In any case, as this thread has basically proven, you should never say never because there's always someone nuts enough (or dumb enough) to do it. G...

Lets see

Well, what makes for a bad AMV song? Anything too horrible would be doable, just for the shock value. You'd need somthing that both has a really weak beat and a subject that couldn't be played off of. For example; Bicycle - by Queen would be hard. How many bicycle clips are there out there? Air - fr...

Homeade AMVs

Maybe we'll see more footage actually designed in Flash, 3DS MAX, etc?

Maybe there will be more videos actually created rather than simply spliced together from other people's work.

Just a thought.

Sex.

If you want to hump the video after you've seen it, it's good

Wow, how would that even work :P.

Well, you burn the video onto CD, get some vaseline...

3ds Max Render Error

I might not get a response, but... 3DS Max 6 works pretty well on my computer, except that it crashes whenever i try to render movies. I know that this problem affects several other programs and have heard some rumors it's caused by one of the windows updates. I've tried installing patches f...
