Premiere + Still + motion = a mess
I'm trying to take a still image and move it around the screen (specifically, make a dog chase a picture of a cat). Options for non-US released anime
So watching fansubs of Azumanga gave me some ideas for videos, but seeing as I'd have to wait probably a year for the whole thing to be released stateside, and wanting to make my video NOW NOW NOW! <ahem> I'm trying to find the best way to get the footage. The obvious ones seem out: Fansubs - qualit...

Final Cut Express - What am I loosing?
I know there are maybe 3 mac users on the forum, but maybe someone has some experiance with Final Cut. I see there is a new (well, new to me) product called Final Cut Express, which, naturally, is a striped down version of Final Cut Pro for 70% less cost. Does anyone know what the differences are be...

Looking for people using a ATI All-In-Wonder and Permiere
If you use a AIT All-In-Wonder, then you know that it comes with a Digital VCR that does all the capturing. While it has many, many settings for capturing, many of them seem to be propriatory - that is, I can only open them with the ATI file player, and NOTHING else will open them - not VirtualDub, ...

Are there "levels" of interlacing?
I have used 2 series while making videos, Dual and Love Hina, using AVIsynth with ripped DVDs. On the Dual video, I could barely tell that it was interlaced, and using Premiere's interlacing filter cleared up any I saw.
