Re: Help expand my horizon

Okay. Here's what I've been listening to lately:

Iced Earth-Crucible of Man (American Power Metal)

Miho Morikawa: (J-Pop singer)

Eluveitie-Slania (Swedish Celtic Death Metal)

Symphony X: Paradise Lost

Evergrey- Torn (Swedish Prog-Metal)

Old Man's Child (Black Metal From Norway I think)

Where is a good place to look for the Nadia Box Set?

A friend of mine let me borrow Nadia and now that I've seen it... I want to go out and buy the box set (preferrably one with the movie) myself. But, its hard to come by so I was wondering if there was a site online that has them stocked.

Thanks!

These are all great amv's, they are the one's that got me into AMV editing in the first place. Alluminum Studios was a huge inspiration, though I'm nowhere near as good as he was.

Hrmmm.

Nadia: Secret of The Blue Water.

Genre: Action, Comedy.

Reasons for liking it: Nadia has a wide variety of personalities in its characters, that combined with a highly entertaining combination of comedy and action make it an addicting show straight from the first episode on.

Nadia: Secret of the Blue Water. Any other fans?

I fell in love with the Nadia series after a friend of mine let me borrow the first season box set. Since then, I have made it my mission to collect the entire series, but the box sets are hard to come by. I was wondering if there were any other fans, and I'd also like your opinions on the Motion Pi...

Re: DVD shgopping list
I just picked up Madlax. Why, because it was A a finite show that was B not dreadfully expensive and the story is indeed a good one. Next I need to add Noir, also a good story (and meets the above conditions too). .
I just got the Madlax boxset as well, and it is very good....

As a metalhead, I'm sure you know this next fact I'm about to state. Good is not necessarily popular.
Yeah, I definetly can relate to that fact:)

Are digital/video effects really necessary for a good AMV?

I'll be honest with you, I'm really horrible with special effects in AMV's. But where I tend to excell at is musical timing with the video footage. I think its cool when someone goes out of their way to use special effects in his/her AMV, but I've also seen plenty of good vids that use little to no ...

Thanks for the tips! As to what genre they are I think you can include 80's Metal into the mix. Either way, a great band! Anymore suggestions would be appreciated:)
