Thanks Kira for writing such a detailed comment. I totally agree with the way you described the video, the polarizing mix, lip sync and all. I wasn't really paying attention to this 'adult' aspect you talked about when selecting the footage but I understand your point although it didn't bother me at...

Flusel wrote:tell me please, why do you use huffyuv instead of lagarith? I have not used either so I just would like to know how you made you decision.
According to my tests, Huffyuv needs less power to encode/decode.

Alright, 432p@60 h264 uploaded, encoded by Mirkosp & Osnar. Although the file is < 100 MB, the quality is good but not better than the divx version. The file would have been 150 MB to have a better quality. HUFFYUV : 3,39 GB http://www.nostro.fr/odt/auriga432phuff.png DIVX : 197 MB http://www.nostro...

I'm listening to the song in the background from your video right now on loop. It's quite enjoyable(though IMO it just ends too fast, is this song a lot longer than the video and you just cut it up?)! The Original Mix is 6:47 and the Montano Dub is 8:27. This music doesn't really have a conclusion ...

I can´t understand why an editor with a lot of experience uses outdated stuff of codecs. Just like I'm still surprised that an editor would use stuff so out of date I use divx 6.8 (December 2007). Alright here's how I computed my encoding : Magic Pad : 100Mo (divx 640*360 - 5:03 min@30 fps) _______...

kenzuka wrote:During the play, I noticed that my CPU usage could go to 25%, 30%, which is more than the capacity of one core, so I am wondering if you have adjusted FFdshow to your system.
Same config and the core in charge of decoding the video doesn't go above 25 %.
That makes about 9% for the system.
