While that actually wasn't bad, I do have a major bone to pick: footage reuse. Some scenes were used so many times I lost track.... Yeah, I know I did. I mentioned in my notes that I'd done that purposefully in order to achieve a certain effect I was going for...and apparently it didn't come across...

I actually did read the guides, but I'll admit I did keep getting a bit confused during the parts about compressing the audio - so I'm not too surprised to hear that that's where the major problem was. I remember wishing for a "Dummies Guide to AMV Compression" through most of the process,...

NO, simply change the bitrate when you encode your vid.

Well...I followed the how-to guide's suggestions for codecs as well as the instructions for compression to the best of my ability - and I tried compressing it three different times, and it still never came out any smaller. I'm the first to admit that I probably made a mistake somewhere in the proces...

Hi *shy wave* I just finished my first amv and was hoping to get some feedback from some of you more experienced types. The title of the vid is "Descent"; the footage I used is from the anime s.CRY.ed , and the music is Three Doors Down; "Superman/Kryptonite". It's a fairly large file size (117MB), ...
