Thank you so much, BigDude! That's exactly what I needed. That will make editing so much easier! V13tB0i, you're correct. Premiere is for video editing while After Effects is for video effects. I have about five seconds where I want to do this effect to my AMV...five seconds may seem like a short pe...

An easier way in AE?
I'm sorry for the ignorant question but it would seriously help me out a lot if someone could give me their input. This isn't really something I can search for. I bought After Effects about a week ago. Throughout this whole week I have done nothing but read the manual, read tutorials, the help engin...

My bad for all the posts...like you said I was just a bit anxious and really wanted to get my video exported and posted. Sorry. Okay, well after many hours of work I finally figured out the problem which was embaressingly simple...In the export settings the file type was Microsoft DV AVI. The file t...

Deeply sorry for the triple posting! But I just figured out something, the root of my problem isn't the HuffYUV codec...it's the settings of my vid which is what I think Dokool was trying to point out. So, um, shit. Is there anyway I can fix this problem, like move my clips to another settings...or ...

I'm trying to be as patient as I can, but I've waited almost a day and no replies...and I really would like me video exported :? If someone could perhaps tell me how to manually install the HuffYUV codec, that would be helpful. When I use the Installer (right clicking the huffyuv.inf file and choosi...

Codecs not Found [exporting problems]
I'm curently reading the part of the guide for exporting my video. However, I seem to have one problem at the part where it tells me to choose the HuffYUV codec. It states in Adobe Premiere, the Video Options of it (the exporting options) right beside codec I am supposed to choose HuffYUV. I only ha...

AVS Error-Can't open source/obsolete D2V file
I know a good bit about making music videos, but I recently reformated my computer and now had to re-do the entire procedure of putting files on the comp so I can make them again. I followed the guide perfectly, or so I think. I've ripped the DVD, opened the VOB's in VirtualDubMod, saved them as a D...

Yes, I use the Decomb plugin. It appears my problem is identical to the thread you posted. Too bad there isn't a solution for it, however, I went with Zaphod's suggestion of moving the clips over a couple of frames and it worked, thanks for that suggestion. Thanks Scintilla for informing me about ex...

Thanks you two for the friendly replies, I was afraid of being cursed at for my ignorance. I've been making music videos for well over three years now, but have never tried to compress them for internet distribution. I just use the HuffyYuv codec to show my co-workers on my personal computer. 1) Wha...
