And another thought. How in the world can two clips both be 24 fps and have the same starting and ending frames, yet still be different lengths? If it wasn't for the fact that the computer doesn't have a neck, I would choke it :D

AVIsynth file switching

Ok, So here I go. I've done this two times before so I usually don't have problems. I got my dvd footage and create the d2v file. I use avisynth and make it 24 fps and ivtc it. All's well. I encode it in mpeg4 v2 using virtualdub so I can move the source files to school and work on it there. I do so...

Hmm, well, it was working. I got it to work before I deleted the ini too. But it worked seemingly randomly, sometimes yes, sometimes no. So contradictory to what I just said up there, I'm back at square one.

I am so glad I found this topic. You don't (well, maybe you do) know what its like staring at the same line of text for two hours wondering why it doesnt work. Works now though, so alls well. :)
