Illustrator is a vector graphics paint program. I think you'd be better served with Photoshop if all you really want to do is image overlays. Illustrator is more for doodling :p Well trying stuff, like stuff you'd use in a flash animation, that's a example of vector art :p ~klinky Yo, Klinky! Thank...

Who uses Illustrator?
Just recently, I've considered purchasing Adobe Illustrator for making bumpers and overlaying text on pictures. What do you normally do with this program? I just would like to know before I order. Thanks.

I myself didn't speak to many AMV members, although was present for the dinner and saw everyone many, many times. I mostly kept travelling from room to room via my 'schedule of anime'. The VAT room was always a good place to be. The video game room blew ass again this year containing no good fightin...

I personally don't like the idea of having to go as far as Southlake for a lunch but it is the best place with choices. Well, the opening ceremonies don't kick in until 5:00 PM Friday so if people don't mind missing the few small events going on before that I guess it could work out. BTW, Skeebadee...

You know for Friday lunch there's Pizza Hut in Mt. Zion with it's buffet of all you can eat pizza and breadsticks and such that ends around one-thirty. It's just five bucks for the buffet and a dollar something for drink. And it's just up the road from Southlake Mall for anyone considering hitting t...

Here you go: http://www.thefinalact.net/misc/fonts.rar If you don't have WinRAR, go to www.rarlab.com and download it to open the file. (IMHO, it's better than WinZip, and it supports all the same file types as WinZip.) Thanks J, I knew I could count on someone. Btw, I didn't even know you had a si...

Updates for MS Paint??
After installing Win2k (THANK YOU, no need for applause) I went to create some bumpers and such but I don't have as many styles of text - actually, a lot less than I had with Win98. So if anyone knows how to cure this, or just say "Use another program".

Questions about Anime Central
How was A-Cen the past few years? Is it a big con like Otakon? I'm guessing it's a bit smaller. Overall, is it worth travelling to? For instance, last year's road trip to MD was fun. I had a blast at Otakon. Five hundred well spent. AWA is closer to me (duh) and it's an okay convention. I mainly jus...
