Anyone ever thought of taking minescule clips from songs (less than a second) splicing them with others and stringing them together to make a totally origional song?

I am currently working on an AMV with this and I must say that there is some excellent footage here just waiting to be used. Find the whole saga on DVD or Kazaa. Its an hour of concecutive videos, although poorly synced there are excellent visuals and a lack of filler crap.

I also like the song but it is way too long and repetitive, cutting out the repitition would make the song too minescule to use for an AMV.

My most recent video is near completion but my editing has come to a halt sevral days ago when my Adobe Premiere 6 stoped recognizing my Divx footage.

Is there any way to convert the files to Real Media or make Adobe recognize the Divx?

Thanks, Ive been utilizing rubberbanding to make some pretty detailed effects.

Ive never used rubber bands before so have some patience with me. I clicked on the red dot you spoke of, so now what should I do?
