Hey guys. Sorry about keeping you all in suspense. The judging is ...

or maybe I was genuinely impressed, but yeah... dude, you really underrated your own work. I quite enjoyed this video. Cool. I'm glad you enjoyed it, really. I can only hope that you were genuinely impressed. Thanks for downloading it. I knew all I had to do was mention dj_ultima_the_great's opinio...

Wow, thanks alot dj. You mentioned mood sync - that was the biggest concern of mine, I'm relieved that you think it worked, cause after awhile I couldn't tell anymore. But you felt the beat sync was off? When I cut I usually just keep messing with it untill it "feels" right, I try to rely on my inst...

... but you never know. I might even be embarassed about it a month from now... I just finished my first AMV. It's called "Eternal Change". I used a song called Temple by The Shadow Dance (some obscure goth band that no one's probably heard of) but I thought it was perfect for NTHT. And like I said ...

I haven't had any problems with xvid101 on my machine: 1ghz G4 powerbook with QT6.5, 3ivx and divx5 installed. I have noticed that rewinding video, or stepping back frames during playback isn't the smoothest with 3ivx, but just playing forward is fine. Could the problems your talking about be a hard...

DVCPRO is lossy though, isn't it? I don't want to compress any more than is absolutely necessary, you know? I'll give it a try though to see how it looks after an xvid encode. As far as I know there isn't a mac guide here at the org. Redwolf's is nowhere to be found. You should talk with AbsoluteDes...

I did some experiments with converting the source to DVCPRO for iMovie, but whenever I did the quality really seemed to suffer. Maybe I had the settings wrong or something, is that how you do it? When I've put the finished xvids side by side (DVCPRO v. PNG) the PNG version came out way more crisp an...
