Ripping from FFX and FFX-2 PS discs
i went through Quu's guide, but nothing really covers for the PS2 discs, if i recall properly, those discs have a different way of ripping. So far I have ripped the discs themselves with alcohol 120%, I tried using the PSvideo stuff, but that didn't seem to work.

adobe preimere pro codec issue
i'm trying to import .avi files into adobe preimere pro, however I keep getting unsupported error. So i'm guessing I'm lacking a codec or so. Any ideas where I can get the right codec?

software recommendation? similiar to Windows Movie Maker?
I like the windows movie maker, i just hate how it breaks each file into gazillion chunks first.
any recommendations that will do similiar, for windows, and especially keep the timeline?
