True, but avis that don't look like ass are HUGE and mpeg 1 looks quite nasty by comparison. I only use the mpeg2 since it's sharp and reasonably sized for a source.

And don't criticise Ulead :x

I always wondered this as well, though I never used it for amv sources, rather to capture TV broadcast and compress to burn on CD. I have the AIW Radeon (the first one), not sure what you're all using, and my new system uses the DVD quality MPEG2 setting with no hassle. To use those, I load the clip...

Wonka. His is the only one that establishes a consistent style. The pencil scetch is nice, but the composition is stale. Having only one element cropped from the side and the rest centered makes it seem unintentional. They're all centered, which I find boring, but Wonka's at least has some other dis...

Some people have luck using it, but the sun must shine out their ass, cause Premiere will typically throw fits with that codec (you're really not supposed to use it to edit with). I'm guessing Windows Me...

I've only had 1 out 3 flawless installs of that OS, especially now a days with your beast of a system.

I'm no expert, but that's where I'd start to point the finger, too many other possibilities I'm not well versed in.
