Anime is not really a way to tell stories. The styles of it define it as its own story. There is actually very little to compare it to in the US. but there is alot to contrast.

I mean come on, since when is cultural invasion a bad thing? My country lived through the British Invasion in the 1960s, and I rather liked the Beatles, Herman's Hermits, and Petula Clark. Given how tepid American animation had been getting lately, this recent Anime Invasion may be just what the do...

i dont respect people who may make something nice but put no work. That is why i hate britney spears cuz she doesnt write the music, lyrics, steps, or play an instrument. She is a puppet and she is famous becuz of that.

The problem that i have can really be represented by this analogy. Would you consider a movie like American Pie or something like that to be on the same level as The Godfather or The Good Bad and The Ugly. I'm saying that some anime is deep but nobody realizes it and think it is like the mindless drivel that is created in america. and that list quotes two or so posts ahead was not my doing...just thought i should point that out.
