Kerneldeint and lanczos resize will eat a lot of cpu time. If lag is really a problem it would be best to export to some form of lossless coding. You could use HuffYUV, Lagarith, or if your harddrive is up to it (both speed and size wise) raw YV12 (which for 640x480 is 450KB per frame). Also you wi...

AtomX: Yes, I did use the method you perscribed, and it works really well with the exception of the lag. :D Here's a copy of my AviSynth scripts before I made them into clips: mpeg2source("C:\blah.d2v") KernelDeint(order=1, threshold=10) ADSwapFieldOrder Crop(8,0,-8,-0) LanczosResize(640,480) Conver...

But I did do some things with the avisynth script such as resizing, deinterlacing, converting to RGB, and changing the field order of some of the footage. Does any of that he...

You're going to have to be a lot more specific about what's going on. "WMM is lagging on me" isn't enough information. We need more than just symptoms, we need to know relevent setup. For one, what kind of source are you trying to use? For another, what kind of hardware are you using? Let's see, we...

Cure for lag? ^_^
Ok, I'm new to this, and I'm sure it's a 'WELL DUH!! THAT'S WHY WMM SUCKS!!!" and very obvious thing that's been brought up a lot. WMM spends so much time lagging that I can't see if I got my timing right, and it goes to 'Not Responding' very often. Anyone know how I can get it to work for me, like ...
