Well, with FMA out this year, he's a hot commodity. Tiffany Grant is a great talent, but I'm surprised she's getting so much face time at conventions still.

That's pretty much what a "creation" convention is in the world of Science Fiction. This also started as a string of cons untill it became a big business with cookie cutter formula... Frankly I see Conventions as a Fan related event by the fans and having a group do only one makes most conventions ...

There's also a convention called Ikasucon. I've never been there, so I can't tell you much about it except that it's a newer convention.

Does anyone have any first hand experience at Otakucon? From what I've read over at the Otakucon forums, it seems like there were some first-year pains. It's cool that they're changing their name to Kunicon to avoid confusion with Otakon.
