Yeah, Avid is REALLY expensive. Because it's industry standard it can be. And it's not about the tools to an extent. Buying a tablet doesn't make you a digital artist, final cut does not make you a pro editor. But I used Nero for all of my videos- it doesn't even have layers and it freezes and dies ...

Why you would want to spend that much money to make AMVs, I have no idea. But yes, you could very well do it. There is a reason it's at the top end of the industry. Avid as an editing program for AMVs?

Wow, this sounds like such a silly question....but in short I'm wondering if anyone has any input regarding using Avid as an editing program for AMVs.
