Ripping in-engine cutscenes from PC games?

Wow it's been awhile since I've been here. Anyway, I've looked, but I haven't been able to find a way to do what I need for a video I'm working on. Basically, I need to know if there's a way to rip cutscenes from PC games which aren't pre-rendered, (ones that take place within the actual game engine...

Here goes nothing

Well, after a long period of dormancy, one of my vids is available for download. It's my newest one, and it's quite large, but the video is near-DVD quality. I managed it by putting it up on a bittorrent tracker. It's going to probably kill my bandwidth (at first at least), since I'll be the only se...

I've got an EVA t-shirt (the one with Rei and Unit 00 standing with arms crossed), and a Boogiepop Phantom t-shirt (I think they only made one type for that series)

Plus I've got an 8-inch tall statuette of Sachiel from EVA sitting on my desk. Oh, and a pack of Trigun playing cards.

I'm a big fan. It's been awhile since I've seen any of his movies, but I think my favorite was The Hidden Fortress. I've also seen Kagemusha, The Seven Samurai, and Rashoman, of which my university just did a live production not too long ago. Kurosawa was truly a great director.

Hmm. . . a bunch of random quotes without even a direct source credited. . . I could probably be more coherent if I posted something like: "The cat has been missing for three days ." "The police are still looking for leads on the case," officers told the press. "If we truly have the desire to do so,...

I really like Exaxxion . Lots of action, good artwork, and a surprisingly interesting plot if you give it a chance. Plus a little fanservice never hurt anyone. And it's nice to see someone who isn't afraid to get in the pilot seat of a giant robot for a change (initially at least). I consider...

And while he never appeared in the anime adaptation, I'd have to add Desty Nova from Battle Angel Alita as well. He's one of the most hatable villains ever. He's demented to the point of being beyond evil; a sadistic, mad genius who will do anything to get what he wants. He always seems to have som...

I managed to get my Dad into anime years ago. Back then, DBZ aired during the dinner hour, and we used to watch it together. I don't think he was all that into it, but it was a stepping stone. Shortly later I bought the first Trigun DVD. After I sat through it on my own, I took it to him and said "t...
