Or something like that. http://www.you_tube.com/watch?v=aGzQOMDYzQw

Hours invested in making a lyric-centric amv, only to have my lyric sync outdone at the press of a button? AWESOME.

This smacks of Objectivist aesthetics (sorry, Kalium and trythil, not to open THAT can of worms again.... )... My major thought that I have the moment I even start trying to make a video is that I have absolutely no control over my viewers' perceptions; I only have control over my timeline...

Absolutely everything is dependent on the viewer's interpretion. He might interpret the video the same way the creator did, but he could also interpret...

My way of thinking is that there are three key things an fan-made music video can do: - Entertain. Cre...

70 megs for video, but 190 megs of audio?

I got my hands on the footage I needed for an amv, but it was badly deinterlaced, so I rolled up my sleeves and started learning to use avisynth. I've gotten a working script: AviSource("C:\Berserk - 25.avi") Telecide(order=1,guide=1,post=2,vthresh=30) Decimate(5) Msmooth(strength=7,threshold=10,mas...

To sarcasm or not to sarcasm, that is the question; Whether 'tis 1337er on the web to suffer The ignorance and trolls of outrageous threads, Or to direct one's posts towards a sea of newbies, And by answering courteously, end them. For several years my personal favorite, as AMVs go, has been Tsukin'...

Seriously. This is a worthless topic and should not be in General AMV. We know all this stuff. Why would we care if *channers know it? lol internet elitism. Yeesh, it was obviously a mistake to mention that the discussion that got me thinking took place on 4chan. A lighthearted attempt to talk abou...
