The easyest way to fix your problem with the video not being where it should be is to manually type in the default values. The values should be Width 720, height 480, X Center 0, Y center 0. There is an easier way, download a program called ALL to AVI it will transfer ogm, and mkv files to avi, also you can select the subtitling and audio setting vary easily.

I am using Vegas 6.0 and it will except the VOB files from a dvd directly. So if you have the hard drive space just copy the VOB files to your hard drive and work off of them directly. The trimmer works great to make the parts you need into a more managable size.

This is my first video so check it out!
