I had the same problem. I couldn't open WMP without ffdshow crashing everything including windows explorer. >_< I thought maybe it was just my dumb computer... but yeah, uninstalling it helped which isn't really a problem since I don't use it. Is ffdshow really important??? Lol, sorry...noob syndrom...

I think that this video has some technical issues that you might want to look at, such as cleaning up the noise, and fixing the contrast. What's wrong with the noise?
