,,, it contains both anime and non-anime footage? It's an Advent Children video with the KoRn song "Here to Stay". It contains mostly Advent Children footage, but there are a few clips from the "Here to Stay" music video. It's like a 70/30 ratio. Is that allowed? Yep. As long as the majority of the...

1:1 opinion exchange
Here's the deal: I'm gonna have a good chunk of time to kill tomorrow, so I'm looking to exchange some opinions. I'll post my videos I'd like an opinion for. Anybody who leaves an opinion for one (or more) of my vids by noon tomorrow (the 13th) just needs to post a link to the vid (or vids) they'd l...

The concept is good, though the editing is a bit lacking in some parts. I know how difficult it is to work with limited video game footage, but there were still some scenes that ran rather long that could have used a few cuts (or perhaps some other sort of effect to help with beat-sync a little). I...

In my restless dreams, I see that town... Silent Hill
I finally finished my Silent Hill 2 video. It's definitely one of my better videos, and any fan of the game should check it out. The song used is "My Gift to You" by KoRn, which really fits that creepy vibe of Silent Hill. But keep in mind... the video has spoilers , so don't watch it if you don't w...

Cut scenes are still ok AFAIK, just not a significant(1) amount of gameplay footage(2). Some games, like Front Mission 3 and 4, have only like 2 FMVs and the rest of the cutscenes are rendered in game to show character equipment and stuff. It would be pretty restrictive to throw those scenes out, a...

I know there are several that people keep mentioning here. Either look around, or wait for one of those in the know to pop in. Be warned, though, non-FMV sequences don't fall under the video game clause of the "what constitutes anime" clasification of this site IIRC. O RLY? Sorry, I couldn't resist...

Is there a program that...
...records what is happening on my computer monitor? Specifically, I want to record the cut-scenes* from Silent Hill 2 (PC version).
* By "cut-scenes", I mean the ones rendered with the game engine, not the FMVs.
Anybody know of a program that can do that?
