VirtualDubMod can't read MKVs
I'm trying to load some MKVs into VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.1 so I can separate the audio and video streams to use for editing. I'm told that the AVI included in the MKV was encoded in XviD. Anyway, whenever I try loading the MKV into VDubMod, one of two things happen depending on the particular file: 1)...

Thanks. I studied the lip-sync guide somewhat religiously and had to work out a few small technical issues, but I think it came out well. Or in the future, as Scintilla points out, you can fiddle with the motion of the clip. In Premiere Pro (not sure about 6.5 and lower), things like scale and position are all in there, so you shouldn't have too much trouble dragging the 320x240 clip to a corner. I already tried that. The problem was...
