Melanchthon - check out http://www.novatech.co.uk I've always found them very friendly and helpful with great after sales support and quick delivery. Plus, they often have great deals on hardware. Specifically, I picked up my 250Gb external HD for £50 or so. AND a free mini-football, but that may no...

Nah, the rule is that the manga is always better if it preceeded the anime. That is, if the anime is based on the manga, rather than vice versa. If it was written later (a la Cowboy Bebop) or even simultaneously (Gundam, I think?), quality is in no way guaranteed. *g*

Meh. That's what I get for searching on names of composers that I was after (Byrd, Palestrina, Durufle, Victoria...) and utterly forgetting to consider anime OSTs. Ack. Well, in an effort to recover from my junior school error and actually contribute something useful... Is it true to some extent tha...

Choral works used in AMVs?

A thought struck me the other day - has anyone ever tried to use choral music within an amv? With all this talk about innovating and so on, it got me wondering if this would be a new thing to try. Usually people use beats and so on to sync, but what if there were no beats as such, just layers of voi...

You got it bang on, I'm afraid Willen. I am indeed constrained by the limitations of wmm2. Joy of joys. So how would I go about getting my series of snapshot frames back into VDM and stuck together in sequence? Cos at the moment I just have a number of images sat there. I'm not sure how to use VDM t...

Virtual Dub Mod Help

This may be an incredibly newb question, but please bear with me. I've been trying to work out how to mask excessive lip flap for a while, using VDubMod's "logo" feature (thanks, Ari!), but it's very trial and error, and I'm wondering if there's another way. Would it be possible to snapshot a sequen...

I really quite enjoyed this. Nicely straightforward and simple, letting the clips speak for themselves. It was a tad too literal at times ("time" springs to mind), but on the whole a refreshingly direct treatment of both lyric and mood sync. I'll get round to oping in the next couple of days. In sho...

Nah, I'm an S fan. Gotta love those Outer Senshi. *g* Mind you, I haven't seen Super S or Stars though, so there might be some good stuff in those.
