I am currently watching alot of Ranma 1/2 and Onegai Twins, also I have recently come to enjoy the new lineup for adultswim especially Samurai Champloo and S-Cry-Ed which both are excellent action series.

I recommend:

*Full Metal Panic
*RahXephon
*Ranma 1/2
*Vandread
*Outlaw Star

These all have a mix of action, comedy, and romance and I highly recommend both Vandread and Ranma 1/2 which are great mixes of all these genres.
