Is this in Media Player? AviSynth stopped working for me in Media Player after I un-installed AviSynth and installed AMVApp. Try opening the .avs file in VirtualDub.

I suppose another "pro" in the AviSynth catagory would be that I do not own either Vegas or Premiere ^_^
