Yeah, I'm opening an avs script in virtual dub and exporting it as an avi, using HuffYUV has a codec. The resulting avi is about 7 gigswhere it's vob counterpart is a little under 2 gigs.

I still dont see why I cant convert it to an AVI, using some codec, and have it be the same size and quality as their VOB counter parts.

So I guess the answer is no, there isn't a lower quality substitute that would suffice.

nvm, you direct it toward an AVS script, not AVIs. I see now.

I'm not using premiere though, so I don't think I can do that. I'm using magix music maker.
