Yes. It's just that the image he linked is a scene from Elfenlied; without black bars. Apparently the region 1 version of Elfenlied has an aspect ratio of 4:3, whereas the region 2 version has 16:9... or something like that. I was also surprised to find out that Elfenlied is actually 30 fps progress...

Yes, I guess I have to do something to get rid of the black bars next time I use footage with various aspect ratios.

Loss of sync sounds like a playback problem... also, how do you mean "unresized footage"? As far as I know, this Elfenlied-version is 16:9, so it looks ok to me.

I suppose this has been proposed a couple of times, but what about just adding a few non-popup banners (since popups get blocked by most browsers) ? Personally, I find those pledge-drive-popups rather annoying, and I think I am not the only one. A few non-animated banners would be a better solution,...
