Well, you can disable the media manager. It's that simple, lol. And, I never really checked how much of my ram was being used, but all I can say is try to open 3 instances of Premiere each containing a big project...

From experience, Vegas only crashed on me once, but I was still able to save my project before having to close Vegas. But yes, it does have limitations, all programs do. Ya, it's true Avisynth would be nice. Someone will make a plugin soon, I feel it  On the other hand, you can manage to frames...

I never understood the people going for Mac. I understand Final Cut Pro, but Avid compares entirely in terms of power. If you want convenience, nothing equals Vegas, it's fast and efficient editing. If your looking for a balanced editor I'd say go with Premiere, it's pretty close to Avid and FCP for...

3D effects, how to?

Ok, I've been watching some AMV's and I keep seeing some 3D effects I'd really like to know how they did it. I won't go explaining the effect, just look at the pic at: http://www.whitefluid.tk This was taken out of Animix part 4. In this particular part of animix it's not only a stable picture with ...

Strange problem while exporting to HuffYuv with premiere

I finished my AMV and I want to export it to HuffYuv, naturally. So I export it, everything seems to work but then, when I play the huffyuv it's missing a small part of my AMV somewhere near the middle. Like 3 to 4 seconds but only the video, the audio is intact well it's shortened but not cut becau...

I checked everything you said and it's still not working. What's strange is that once in a while I see one or 2 frames that have been recorded. I tried with a few programs, never with video studio, I'm gonna try with it now.

Sorry about the other time. I kinda misunderstand stuff at 3 am. Well, when I wanna preview my work I render it with PICVideo Lossless JPEG Codec at quality draft, and my audio pcm uncomporessed or mpeg-layer3. For example, it took me ~24 minutes to render a 6min AMV with those settings. You do need...
