I don't know what I did, but I was trying to make an .mp3 so that I could upload that into BeSweet. I was saving my .m4a in Vegas (which showed peaks in a new document) and I switched back over to my other doc, and THERE IT WAS! I don't know what I did to fix it, but it works now. What the hell just...

Audio Peaks in Vegas (I know... another one)
Last night I was working on a video in Vegas using a .m4a audio file. Yeah, I ripped the CD through iTunes. It was working fine last night, but this morning, when I opened the file to see if my 3AM ideas really were as good as I thought they were (lol), I got an "error codec" message and all of my p...

Or you could be like me and not have more than the minimum system requirement to run Vegas.... Try rendering a part Tools > Preview in Player and check that out. It's a little messy for timing issues, but it works well enough. Even if that's not the problem, try giving this a shot. Usually that mean...

I've been having some technical difficulties with Vegas lately. I have made three videos (none post worthy) with the program and never had the same problem. I followed the directions in A&E's Tech guides, the same way as I had with my last video, and made functioning clips. They work in Zoom Player ...

Alright, I tried a lot of what you guys were talking about, but nothing really worked. My monitor is set to 32 bit, so that's not a problem. http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/1117/uninvitedgrainy4hz.jpg That's the grainy one, before I used deen. http://img65.imageshack.us/img65/5420/uninvitedbandin...

Gradiants to banding
(before I say anything else, I've been following Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides to the letter)
I'm using clips from Jubei-chan (first season) and they use insane amounts of gradiants and halos and glowy stuff. I've gotten my first render finished and now I'm doing the AMVApp editing to get rid of the grainy stuff. When I blend, though, I get nothing but banding.
This is the coding:

I had been using deen and I tried all of the choices mentioned in the guide, but all of them produced varying amounts of banding. Is there anything that's good for video like this? I'm pretty sure that both Trigun and Gungrave would have similar problems, though I haven't checked. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?DirectShowSource("Uninvited1.avi")

Thanks, guys. I don't quite understand what you're talking about, Scintilla... not quite yet, anyway ^^;. I've bowed down and have taken the walkthrough STEP BY STEP and am making clips which is working out pretty well, but SLOW! Gods, it's slow. Haha... the easy part of all this is the construction...
