ok just submitted my opinon. oh by the way, another good video editing software is Sony Vegas 5.0 I use that now to make the movie, but for some reasons (i guess i'm just dumb) i dont know how to make the file size lower than 100mb, so then i use wmm, and resave it. It keeps the audio and video qual...

well mainly just the "You should edit directly from ripped DVDs using AVIsynth" part... My editor can import the VOB files directly into it. would that be better than editing it in AVIsynth?

ok, i got a DVD and ripped it, and now i need to compess it. what codec should i use?

What if i put the XVid file into the editor and remade it using the 3ivx D4 4.5.1 pro video codec. then would it be safe to use as the source footage?
