Alright good to know. I was planning on entering both Metrocon and Nan Desu Kan. Has anyone ever entered these contests this way? Was it a good experience?

Question regarding AMV Contests

I'm not sure if this should be in the contests section or not so w/e. My question is, is it normal to submit AMV's to Contests at Conventions you don't plan to attend and just check online if you won an award or not? I'm wondering since I don't go to many conventions but I would love to get my AMV's...
