Excellent

Ah man, The facial expressions in this sketch are fitted with the characters in true perfection. Kori with an overjoyed smile which in turn gives Yoshi that disgruntled annoyed look, then Sano happy to be anywhere he'll get free food and Magumi smirking at his side probably slightly amused and going...

Oh my Gosh!

Geez peoples. The answer was: during their first year as a band in 1992 the original guitarist, Tom Wisnieski, wore a very loud plaid shirt. The other members really liked and came up with "Magnified Plaid" as their new band name. Yuri, the drummer, at one point made band t - shirts to distribute to...

So ADV, another company, who bought the Rurouni Kenshin ...

At least, until you check out the reversible covers on the three individual OVAs, which actually has " Ruroni Kenshin " titling. Not sure why they didn't use the Kenshin name, since apparently they were allowed to have it on the covers (even though not on the outside).[/quote] 3 OVAs? What are you t...

Blown Away

When people refer to the Rurouni Kenshin "manga" I'm guessing that it means the actual comic book. Am I wrong? Either way, is the tv series supposed to have been a remake of the comic or vice versa? The other thing that fellow fans of this show keep saying thats confusing me is sometimes refering to...

Higashidani Wow, Sano's last name is something I've never even considered before. In the end, what importance or significance ...

Pirated Dvds

One of the advantages of living in the 3rd world is that the law doesn't prohibit the pirated market. So about 2 months ago I went out searching for the tv series on dvd but wasn't able to track them down. I eventually came across a stand with a Samurai X poster and immediately asked what they had o...

Astounded

Alright, that makes things seem a bit more clear. Come to think of it, the "filler" episodes despite having fresh new storylines were considerably shorter than the Shishio season. Back in 2003 they seemed just as long and interesting to me but after seeing them again towards the end of last ...
