I consider a so-called "true" fan to be someone who is serious into anime, someone who has seen more than what's on TV and someone who cares about it, not someone who just watches very rarely when there's nothing else to do. i'm not seriously into anime, but i have seen a lot more than what's on TV...

i think anyone who calls themself a 'true anime fan' obsessive in most cases. i look at people either as fans or not fans, not as 'true' or 'fake' fans.

i always thought that the characters are very colorful because japanese people ALL have black hair and black eyes. i've never seen any symbolism in the characters' coloring.

i'm not tired of action-related shows. i personally enjoy them more than everything other than comedy. i think things are perfectly fine the way they are.

i just finished watching this, and i have to ask, did anyone else think the ending was crap? it was one of the most horrible endings i've ever seen. rarely do i ever see an anime that ends decently. why do the creators do make crappy endings that ruin an otherwise good show?

i think in general, shows which last several seasons are better in the beginning. it always seems easier to just say "I've seen this happen before." when you're watching later seasons.

i'm not taking it as a generalization, nor did i assume she was saying any type of rock fits all anime.
