That fixed it I'm on to tinkering with the sound now, well trying to, but MFaudio won't load that file for me, it's stopping about halfway everytime and nothing happens. Any thoughts on that one? And thanks for all your help so far, it's been very useful.

Well it worked well up until the DGIndex part... I can play the video in DGindex (without sound) but when I save it, it saves the file with a "picture error" and after that Virtualdub won't recognize it. When DGIndex is saving the file, you can't see the video footage either, so i'm unsure what i'm ...

Ah thanks for the help! I'll get working on that. I do want to rip them to make AMV's but I also wanted to be able to watch them (with sound). But i'll take what I can get at the moment. Thanks again and I might tinker with that program depending how well I can do the first stuff.
