Artifact around mouth when characters are speaking
So this is a problem I've been having for a really hard time and never successfully got around to fixing it. Basically, deinterlacing will be successful but I'll have some weird remnants of it around the mouth where a character is speaking. Here are a few consecutive frames where this happens. It's ...

Re: Connecticon 2013 FMV Contest - Deadline June 15: 1 Week
Just an FYI--the Connecticon website says the deadline is June 12th, not June 15th. It would be a good idea to change that so other people don't panic like I just did.

Converting final project from 23.976 to 29.976 fps
What's the best way to make the conversion from 23.976 to 29.976 fps without throwing off the timing in an AMV? The project I'm converting has very precise timing with fast-paced music, and I found that straight converting it with Format Factory didn't achieve the desired results--it was only off by...

Problems with H.264 mpeg-4 AVC in Sony Vegas
I have a video encoded with H.264 AVC, and Sony Vegas won't play it. Vegas recognizes that a video stream is there, but the video is all black. Gspot gave me the following information: Codec: avc1 Name: H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Status: Codec Status Undetermined What does codec status undetermined even mean?...

Re: boy and girl with a bucket, and angry man talking on a b
For the bucket thing, I'm thinking episode 9 of Chrono Crusade when Rosette and Joshua and some other kids are playing out in front of the orphanage with a bucket. Rosette gets very angry, so that part fits. It's here from 5:38 to 7:00. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39hEHWUU2B8 I'm not sure if it's...

Re: Really bizarre problem--all clips in Vegas are tinted blue
Judging by your video size in Vegas, I'm assuming you ripped DVDs. When you use your indexer, it should tell you the aspect ratio of the footage (hit f5 to preview in DGIndex or DVD2AVI, it will tell you in the box that comes up). Yeah. Thanks guys, I'm still pretty bad at AR stuff, so for all my v...

Slamming doors?
This is kind of an odd one, but I'm looking for scenes where a character is slamming a door. Preferrably against another character, but I'm not picky.

Re: Really bizarre problem--all clips in Vegas are tinted blue
I fixed the problem, it was a codec issue.
What's the correct AR for Ouran? I'm really bad with aspect ratios. xD Also, the video will have multiple anime with different ARs so I'll make it the right AR after I finish the AMV I guess.

Re: These codecs are driving me mad...
Even if the other version is better, it makes my clips in Sony Vegas blue, so it doesn't really help me much. I'm mostly concerned with getting my videos to show up correctly in Sony Vegas so I can edit with them.

Re: These codecs are driving me mad...
I finally fixed it. Ironically, what ended up working was reinstalling the original HuffyUV codec that came with the AMVapp. It didn't have to do with those codec packs after all.
Finally, my video has color again. xD
