I downloaded AMV Hell 3 for my general enjoyment, but there was a codec my computer did not have installed. Can anybody tell what this codec is?

Yea... DivX is a pain in the butt. It crashes Windows Movie Maker.

I had a lot of trouble finging a functional download on Google.

I am using a guide for using DVD footage for AMVs. One of the needed Codecs was DivX 4.12. Thanks for the link.

Does anyone know where to download DivX 4.12?

Oops, sorry. I didn't wan't link or anything. I just need a way import episodes from a DVD, or do I need that stupid remote card to record episodes, and I don't even know if one of those work w/ my satellite dish.

How am I able to caputre video or download some anime? Or will a graphics card work with my satelitte connection?
